Job Description
We are seeking an IT Business Analyst III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in requirements analysis, process optimization, and data visualization, and a proven ability to translate evolving business reporting needs into clear technical specifications aligned to regulatory and enterprise objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to capture and refine reporting requirements.
- Analyze processes to identify gaps, remove redundancies, and standardize workflows across pipelines.
- Document clear, testable user stories and specifications that support Agile delivery and SDLC practices.
- Facilitate backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirement prioritization using Jira or similar tools.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong ability to gather, analyze, and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Proven stakeholder and project management across business and technology teams.
- Process analysis skills to identify inefficiencies and drive optimization.
- Solid understanding of Agile and SDLC practices, including backlog and sprint planning.
- Clear, concise documentation and communication skills with strong problem-solving ability.
- Awareness of regulatory and compliance requirements, preferably in financial services or risk data.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
Preferred Skills:
- Exposure to managed Agile delivery processes and tools such as Jira.
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Agile.
- Technical background or familiarity with Python, PL/SQL, or Java.
