Position’s Contributions to Work Group:
Position supports the Electrical and Electronics procurement team to develop and maintain a high performing supply base supporting a wide range of electronic technology.  Team supports lights, sensors, alternators, displays, and electronic control modules (ECM’s) just to highlight a few.  Position will also support supplier capacity planning to ensure that our supply base has the installed capacity, available labor, and tier 2 supply chain to support our demand through the demand cycle.
 
Typical task breakdown:
  • Support APQP projects for new product developments, including Team Feasibility sign offs and reviewing and approving PPAP documents
  • Analyze and approve Process Change Notices (PCN) for supplier requested changes to products and processes
  • Analyze supplier quality defect data and drive corrective actions (Emergency, Interim, and Permanent) to eliminate both the failure and the failure mode
  • Monitor supplier capacity and execute solutions to ensure supplier capability to meet our demand
  • Support critical Assurance of Supply projects to communicate risks, work with suppliers to understand root cause and actions needed to resolve, and execute recovery
 
Education & Experience Required:
  • Years of experience: 8 – 10 required
  • Degree requirement: Bachelor’s degree in engineering

Technical Skills:
  • APQP (Advanced Product and Quality Planning)/PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) experience
  • Process Change Notice (PCN) experience
  • Correction Action implementation utilizing 8D problem solving methodology
  • Rough Cut Capacity Planning or similar process for managing supplier capacity
  • ETQ system experience
  • Advanced Quality Execution (AQE) system experience
  • Network Planning & Execution (NPE) tool experience
  • Power BI or Power App tool experience
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing tools and processes
  • Experience with electrical components and manufacturing processes
 
Soft Skills:

Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $65.00- $66.00/hour. Non-exempt positions are eligible for overtime at a rate of 1.5 times the base hourly rate for all hours worked in excess of 40 in a work week, or as required by state or local law. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
