Job Title: Process Planning Engineer

Location: Milan, IL 61264

Duration: Contract 1 + Years

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled professional to support data collection, analysis, and optimization of physical warehouse layouts across our U.S. regional distribution centers. This role will play a critical part in ensuring system readiness, aligning facility operations with current and future requirements, and driving tactical optimization projects.

Key Responsibilities

Collect, verify, and review key data points for physical warehouse layouts.
Validate legacy warehouse operating system data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Lead and support tactical optimization projects across multiple facilities to align with evolving operating system requirements.
Populate and maintain data sets for facility system readiness; conduct gap analyses to identify improvement opportunities.
Construct and validate accurate AutoCAD representations of warehouse layouts.
Collaborate with engineering teams to execute reconfiguration projects and data-driven initiatives.
Provide ongoing support for U.S. regional distribution centers.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational excellence.

Must-Have Qualifications

Proven experience with data analysis and proficiency in data tools (Excel, SQL, or similar).
Hands-on experience with CAD software (AutoCAD or equivalent).
Strong time management and project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
Prior warehouse or distribution center experience.
Bachelor's degree in engineering, Mathematics, or a technical field.
Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience.
