Overview:We are seeking a Desktop Support Technician to provide hands-on technical support in a corporate environment. This role focuses on workstation deployment, hardware troubleshooting, user account management, and resolving day-to-day break/fix issues. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced IT setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesWorkstation Deployment & Imaging- Deploy, reimage, and configure Windows PCs and laptops following corporate standards.
- Perform cable management and workstation setup to ensure a clean, organized, and functional desktop environment.
- Assist with hardware rollouts, refresh cycles, and new-hire workstation preparation.
User Account & Access Management- Utilize Active Directory to add, remove, and update user accounts and security groups.
- Ensure proper access permissions and follow established identity management procedures.
Hardware Troubleshooting & Repairs- Diagnose and resolve issues with PCs, monitors, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
- Perform minor hardware repairs and component replacements as needed.
- Support on-site and remote users with hardware-related problems and equipment setup.
Technical Support & Break/Fix- Provide prompt troubleshooting for software, hardware, and general desktop support issues.
- Work through deployments, break/fix incidents, and technical tickets with a focus on timely resolution.
- Escalate complex problems to senior team members when necessary while maintaining communication with the end user.
Qualifications- Experience in desktop support within a corporate or enterprise environment.
- Proficiency with Windows operating systems and common desktop applications.
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory for basic user administration.
- Strong troubleshooting ability with hardware and peripherals.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr.
