SQL Developer (ERP,SAP) Location: Atlanta, GA (Local only) Hybrid In office T-W-Th Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled SQL Developer with data engineering experience to join our client's team. This role will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing SQL queries and managing data pipelines. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL expertise and hands-on experience with modern data engineering tools and cloud platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and database functions for analytical and operational workloads.
  • Build and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest, transform, and store data from various sources.
  • Develop and manage data models and database schemas for analytical and reporting purposes.
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business stakeholders to deliver clean, reliable, and well-documented data.
  • Monitor data quality and implement data validation and profiling checks.
  • Participate in database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Work with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
  • Use tools such as Apache Airflow, dbt, or similar to orchestrate and manage data workflows.
  • Implement best practices for data governance, security, and compliance.
  • Support CI/CD practices for data pipelines and version control using Git.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in SQL development and database design.
  • Solid understanding of relational database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Experience with at least one major cloud platform: AWS, Google Cloud Platform, or Azure.
  • Proficiency in data pipeline and orchestration tools
  • Prior experience working on an SAP project
  • Experience with modern data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
