Pay Rate: $61.57-64Top Requirements:4+ years of Systems Architecture experience or equivalent through consulting, training, military, or education.Hands-on GenAI architecture expertise, including AI-augmented patterns, agentic workflows, and LLM-based reasoning.Architecture as Code (AaC) using Structurizr, C4 models, automated scripts, and CI/CD integration.Cloud architecture experience in Azure and Google Cloud Platform (onboarding, landing zones, SDLC integration).Experience with enterprise patterns, reference architectures, and pattern evolution (Archetype 2.0).Plusses:Experience implementing next-gen Permit-to-Build automation, governance automation, and metadata-driven validations.Strong ability to convert architecture standards into working code, tools, templates, and accelerators.Familiarity with AI-enabled observability, governance enforcement, and platform intelligence.Experience operating in highly regulated enterprise environments (risk, compliance, controls).Strong cross-functional communication with CTO Architecture, developers, platform teams, and security partners.Job Summary:This contingent GenAI Architecture Consultant role supports moderately complex Systems Architecture initiatives, contributing to large-scale planning, technical decision frameworks, and AI-enabled modernization efforts. The consultant will design AI-augmented architecture patterns, automate architecture governance via Structurizr/C4 pipelines, lead Azure/Google Cloud Platform onboarding architectures, create enterprise patterns and archetypes, and implement model-driven automation to reduce risk and improve engineering velocity. This role is essential to advancing DCMS, GenAI, and CTO Architecture OKRs by institutionalizing AI-powered architecture, governance automation, and next-generation tooling.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Design and prototype AI-augmented architecture patterns including GenAI and agentic workflows.
- Build hands-on POCs improving observability, governance enforcement, and system intelligence.
- Apply LLM reasoning for architecture validation and decision support.
- Develop automated Architecture-as-Code (AaC) models using Structurizr and C4.
- Create scripts, generators, pipelines, and CI/CD-aligned architecture validation checks.
- Produce high-quality architecture deliverables and enforce DCMS governance.
- Validate submissions, correct design gaps, and drive consistency across architecture teams.
- Lead Azure & Google Cloud Platform onboarding architectures, including PAA onboarding, SDLC tool integration, templates, and accelerators.
- Deliver enterprise patterns, Archetype 2.0 updates, reference implementations, and prototype applications.
- Co-design next-generation Permit-to-Build automation with LLM reasoning, automated validations, and metadata ingestion.
- Collaborate with platform engineering, developers, security, risk, and CTO Architecture leadership.
- Communicate clearly on complex AI-enabled architecture approaches.
