Job Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Programmer Analyst (Senior ABAP Developer) to join our team. The role involves stabilizing existing SAP operations while strategically expanding system capabilities through custom development and integration. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP development, S/4HANA concepts, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. This position requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Responsibilities: - Manage and resolve software bugs and functional discrepancies to meet Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Perform system maintenance, including applying Support Package Stacks (SPS) and security patches.
- Execute system upgrades using tools like the Software Update Manager (SUM).
- Design and implement custom ABAP developments, including reports, Dictionary Objects, and user exits.
- Build secure data exchanges between SAP and internal/external systems using SAP Integration Suite.
- Prioritize decoupled extensions and public APIs to ensure long-term system stability and easier upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address unique business requirements and enhance system capabilities.
Qualifications: - 5+ years of experience in SAP development, including S/4HANA concepts.
- 5+ years of experience in PI/PO, AO, CDS Views, and SAP Workflow development.
- Proactive with excellent coordination and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate in a team environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and confidence with stakeholders.
- Experience in handling multiple deadlines and associated pressures.
- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalency.
Nice to Have Skills: - Experience in SAP modules like FI, PM, HR, and Supply Chain.
- Experience in SAP Cloud Systems.
- Knowledge of ABAP Web Dynpro and Adobe Interactive Forms.
- Understanding of integration concepts such as web services, ALE, and Process Integration.
- Experience in Object-Oriented programming and performance optimization tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot and determine the root cause of SAP-related issues.
- Experience translating functional specifications into technical design documents.
