Job Description:

PURPOSE/ MISSION OF TEAM:

• We have identified improvements required in our backend code and infrastructure.
• We are planning to use AI to implement these improvements, hence the team will work a small unit (together with senior member from existing team) in parallel to the regular dev team to try AI improvement suggestions and test the outcomes.
• Build and optimize enterprise on-premises Kubernetes infrastructure with strategic cloud integration.
• Immediate priority: Debug intermittent service communication failures in Istio + Flannel + kube-proxy environment.
• Leverage AI tools and MCP servers to enhance troubleshooting and operations.

• Experience with performance testing tools (k6, JMeter, Locust)
• Exposure to manufacturing, industrial, or enterprise software environments

Additional Job Description:

Required Skills

• 3+ years of QA/SDET experience with hands-on automation (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress)
• Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python, JavaScript)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins)
• Experience with AI-assisted development or testing tools (GitHub Copilot preferred)
• Strong understanding of REST APIs and experience with API testing (Postman)
• Familiarity with prompt engineering for test generation use cases

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and champion new AI/ML-powered QA tools and methodologies
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using AI-assisted tools (GitHub Copilot)
• Use LLM-based tools to generate test cases, identify edge cases, and reduce manual testing effort
• Build and maintain CI/CD-integrated test pipelines for regression, performance, and API testing
• Analyze test results and defect patterns using data-driven approaches to prioritize quality improvements
• Collaborate with developers to shift quality left embedding testing early in the development process
