Talent Acquisition Recruiter

SHD Composites, a Cambium Company, develops and manufactures advanced composite materials for demanding industrial and aerospace applications. Our growing U.S. operations are adding a dedicated recruiter to build the talent pipelines that support our teams and business.

The Opportunity

You will lead full-cycle recruiting across manufacturing, engineering, quality, supply chain, commercial, finance, and corporate functions. Partner with hiring managers and HR to clarify needs, source qualified candidates, keep searches moving, and provide a responsive candidate experience.

Key Responsibilities

Manage searches from intake and posting through sourcing, screening, interviews, offer support, and pre-employment follow-up.

Partner with hiring managers on role requirements, recruiting plans, interview steps, compensation expectations, and timelines.

Source and recruit hourly production employees and professional or technical talent using job boards, LinkedIn, referrals, schools, networks, and targeted outreach.

Conduct structured phone screens; share concise candidate summaries and recommendations; coordinate interviews and timely follow-up.

Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records in ADP and other approved systems; track open roles, aging, sourcing, time-to-fill, and offer acceptance.

Build pipelines for recurring and hard-to-fill roles; support workforce planning, recruiting events, referrals, and school or community partnerships.

Apply company policy and applicable equal employment practices throughout recruiting and selection.

Qualifications

3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience; manufacturing, aerospace, advanced materials, engineering, or industrial recruiting is strongly preferred.

Experience recruiting hourly production and professional or technical candidates, with hands-on sourcing and applicant tracking system skills. ADP experience is a plus.

Strong interviewing, communication, organization, follow-up, and hiring-manager partnership skills; able to manage multiple priorities with accurate records.

Working knowledge of U.S. recruiting and equal employment practices. A bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.

Compensation and Work Details

Expected hiring range: $75,000-$90,000 annually, based on relevant experience and recruiting expertise. Benefits and any incentive eligibility are provided under SHD plans and policies. This full-time role is based in Mooresville, NC, with occasional travel to company locations, recruiting events, and schools.
