Security Account Manager (IC2/IC3) Onboarding & Audit Management

Summary

The Security Account Manager (SAM) supports onboarding and ongoing security engagement for assigned customers, with a focus on enabling secure cloud adoption and managing customer audit/assurance activities. This role is customer-facing and cross-functional, coordinating responses to security questionnaires, audit evidence requests, and control discussions while helping customers understand security architecture, shared responsibility, and operational best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Lead or support the security portion of customer onboarding: intake, security requirement discovery, and success criteria definition.
Establish onboarding security deliverables (e.g., security overview, configuration guidance, access model, logging recommendations
Manage inbound customer assurance requests: security questionnaires, audit inquiries, and evidence collection coordination.
Track audits and assurance deliverables end-to-end (intake, assignment, reviews/approvals, deadlines, customer delivery, follow-ups)

Qualifications

Bachelor s degree in information security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong technical background in IT infrastructure, security tools
Demonstrable experience analyzing and interpreting security scan results and pentest output.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical findings into actionable and understandable guidance for technical and non-technical audiences.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, pivot tables, and report generation.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Experience 2-5 years
