Project Context
The project is currently in the development phase and focuses on SAP integration within the HR ecosystem. Primary work involves SAP CPI middleware integration between SAP S/4HANA and SAP SuccessFactors. The team is also migrating integrations from an older platform to SAP BTP Cloud Foundry, making integration expertise critical for this role.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage SAP CPI integrations.
Build and maintain interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and SuccessFactors.
Work on HR / payroll / benefits related integrations.
Support migration of integrations from legacy platforms to SAP BTP / Cloud Foundry.
Review, manage, and possibly lead integration interfaces.
Collaborate with the development team on integration architecture.
If the candidate has strong experience, they may also act as a Lead managing 10-15 resources while still being hands-on.
Required Skills
Must Have:
Strong experience in SAP BTP / SAP CPI
Experience with SAP S/4HANA integrations
Experience integrating SAP SuccessFactors
Experience with middleware integrations
Strong hands-on development capability
Preferred / Nice to Have:
Experience with HR / Payroll / Benefits integrations
Experience with integration platform migration
Exposure to SAP BTP Cloud Foundry
Experience handling large integration environments
Experience Requirement
Preferred 10-15+ years of experience in SAP integration space. Senior candidates (even 15-20 years) are acceptable only if they remain hands-on and willing to work as an individual contributor.

Description:
SAP CPI Developer designs, builds, and maintains integrations in SAP Cloud Integration/SAP Integration Suite.
Responsible for creating and modifying iFlows using various adapters (HTTPS, SFTP, SOAP, REST, OData, etc.).
Develops mappings using graphical tools, XSLT, Groovy, or JavaScript.
Configures security materials including OAuth, certificates, and encryption keys.
Implements exception handling, logging, and errorhandling frameworks.
Coordinates closely with functional teams across HCM, SuccessFactors and other modules.
Works with architects to ensure compliance with integration patterns and security standards.
Participates in design workshops and provides technical recommendations.
Performs unit, integration, and endtoend testing for interfaces.
Troubleshoots runtime errors, payload issues, and adapter connectivity.
Supports QA, UAT, and cutover activities for integration deployments.
Prepares technical documentation, mapping specs, and design deliverables.
Experience migrating Interfaces from NEO to Cloud Foundry is a plus.
