Enterprise Security Architect - Healthcare
TalentFish is seeking an experienced Enterprise Security Architect to lead enterprise cybersecurity architecture for a large healthcare organization undergoing significant technology transformation.
This strategic leadership role will partner with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security, Infrastructure, Application Engineering, and executive leadership to design secure, scalable enterprise solutions while reducing organizational risk and supporting long-term business objectives.

What You''ll Do
- Lead enterprise cybersecurity architecture strategy and governance.
- Design secure enterprise solutions across cloud, infrastructure, applications, identity, and network environments.
- Develop enterprise security standards, reference architectures, and technology roadmaps.
- Partner with Infrastructure, Security Engineering, Enterprise Architecture, and business leaders on strategic initiatives.
- Evaluate current technologies and recommend improvements for security, scalability, performance, and cost optimization.
- Assess emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and cybersecurity technologies.
- Ensure alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.
- Present architectural recommendations to technical teams and executive leadership.
- Mentor security engineers and architects while promoting security best practices.
- Participate in architecture reviews, strategic planning, and on-call support as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor''s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 9+ years of Information Security Engineering experience.
- 4+ years serving as an Enterprise or Security Architect.
- 2+ years leading enterprise security initiatives and project delivery.
- Experience developing enterprise cybersecurity strategy.
- Experience working with cross-functional technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Strong communication, analytical, and leadership skills.

Additional Requirements
- Valid driver''s license.
- Ability to travel throughout the Chicagoland area as business needs require.
- Participation in an on-call rotation.

Compensation
Expected salary range is $140,000-$185,000 annually, depending on experience, technical expertise, and qualifications. Comprehensive benefits include medical, dental, vision, retirement savings, paid time off, and professional development opportunities.
