Our client is a well-established investment management and financial services organization seeking a Software Engineer, Test Automation to join their technology team on a contract basis. This role will focus on building and maintaining automated testing solutions for data platforms, ETL processes, and enterprise applications using Python, PyTest, PostgreSQL, SQL, and CI/CD tools. Contract Duration: 12 Months Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of experience in Test Automation, SDET, QA Automation, or Software Engineering
Strong Python development experience
Hands-on experience with PyTest or similar Python testing frameworks
Experience testing ETL processes, data pipelines, or backend systems
Strong SQL skills and experience with PostgreSQL
Experience creating and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks
Experience with Git or other version control systems
Understanding of CI/CD pipeline testing and release processes
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Desired Skills & Experience Experience within financial services, investment management, or fintech environments
Exposure to Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps
Experience with data quality validation and reconciliation testing
Familiarity with workflow orchestration or scheduling platforms such as Airflow
Experience performing source-to-target data testing
Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills
