Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Virtualization Engineer to design, implement, manage, and support virtualization infrastructure across enterprise environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with hypervisors, virtual machines, storage, networking, and system performance optimization.

Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, or Citrix Hypervisor.
Manage and monitor virtual machines (VMs), clusters, and host systems.
Perform system upgrades, patches, and migrations.
Troubleshoot virtualization, storage, and network-related issues.
Ensure high availability, backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions.
Optimize infrastructure performance, capacity, and resource utilization.
Collaborate with system administrators, network teams, and security teams.
Maintain documentation for virtualization environments and procedures.
Support cloud and hybrid infrastructure initiatives where applicable.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2–5 years of experience in virtualization technologies.
Strong understanding of:
- Server virtualization
- Storage systems (SAN/NAS)
- Networking concepts
- Windows/Linux server administration
Experience with:
- VMware ESXi
- vCenter Server
- Hyper-V
Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery tools.
Familiarity with scripting tools like PowerShell or Bash is a plus.

Preferred Certifications

VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate
Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)

Soft Skills

Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Attention to detail and documentation practices
