Full Stack Engineer
Location: Fully Remote
Duration: 6 months but can be extended
ROLE SUMMARY
· We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer with 3-5 years of experience to design, develop, and support responsive web applications and scalable backend services. The role requires hands-on expertise in React, Java, and Node.js, along with strong knowledge of REST APIs, databases, testing, secure coding, and modern software delivery practices.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain end-to-end web applications using React, Java, and Node.js.
· Build reusable and responsive user-interface components with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
· Develop scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java frameworks such as Spring Boot and Node.js frameworks such as Express.
· Integrate frontend applications with APIs, databases, authentication services, and third-party systems.
· Write clean, secure, maintainable, and well-tested code; participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.
· Create unit and integration tests, troubleshoot defects, perform root-cause analysis, and improve application performance.
· Work with SQL or NoSQL databases and apply appropriate data modeling, query optimization, and transaction-handling practices.
· Collaborate with product owners, UX designers, architects, QA, and DevOps teams in Agile delivery cycles.
· Support CI/CD deployments, application monitoring, production support, documentation, and continuous improvement.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
· 3-5 years of hands-on experience developing full stack web applications in an enterprise or product environment.
· Strong proficiency in React, JavaScript/TypeScript, component-based development, state management, and frontend testing.
· Solid Java experience, preferably with Spring Boot, REST APIs, object-oriented design, and common design patterns.
· Hands-on Node.js experience, including Express or a comparable framework, asynchronous programming, and API development.
· Working knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JSON, REST, authentication/authorization, and secure coding practices.
· Experience with relational or NoSQL databases, Git-based version control, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
· Understanding of microservices, cloud-native development, containerization, and application observability concepts.
· Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, collaboration, and documentation skills.
PREFERRED SKILLS
· Spring Boot, TypeScript, Redux or Context API, Jest, React Testing Library, JUnit, Maven or Gradle, Docker, Kubernetes, Azure or AWS, SonarQube, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
