Junior Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in San Antonio, TX that is seeking a Junior Business Analyst.

Responsibilities:
* Under supervision, assembles, analyzes, and documents client's business requirements
* Defines high-level application, relationships, flows, implementation of business (processes, activities, functions, information), applications, and creates business and system use cases or functional specifications
* Assists in creation of business requirement documents (BRD) that sets out project requirement including costs, objectives, milestones, and timelines
* Performs business analysis and project management support for his/her area. Interprets data and provides analysis results to derive actionable insights
* Assists in the development of detailed functional specifications including function models, process flow diagrams and report and screen layouts
* Assists in the presentation of recommendations and solution designs
* Coordinates with testing team in planning and executing system integration testing and regression testing
* Participates in resolving any functional issue in post-production environment during the cutover period
* Supports the senior stakeholders in preparing user guides and provide user training

REQUIREMENTS:
* Good understanding of Agile methodology and SDLC
* Knowledge of scripting and database languages such as Oracle PL/SQL, MySQL, etc.
* Knowledge of project management tools such as JIRA/Confluence
* Experience supporting business requirements for large scale applications in the concerned domain

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
