About the Client

Our client is a large, wellestablished industrial and naturalresources organization undergoing a major SAP S/4HANA transformation. They operate across complex, assetintensive environments and require a senior SAP MM Architect who understands the unique challenges of heavy industry, mining, metals, or materialsdriven operations.

Role Overview

We are seeking a SAP S/4HANA MM Solution Architect with deep functional expertise in Materials Management and strong crossmodule integration experience. This role will lead solution design, guide best practices, and support endtoend delivery across procurement, inventory, logistics, and supply chain operations.

This is a senior, handson architecture role supporting a highvisibility program.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead solution architecture for SAP S/4HANA MM, ensuring alignment with operational and supply chain requirements.
• Design and optimize processes across ProcuretoPay, Inventory Management, Material Valuation, MRP, Subcontracting, and Logistics Execution.
• Collaborate with functional teams across WM/EWM, PP, SD, QM, TM, and Finance.
• Support blueprinting, configuration oversight, testing strategy, and cutover planning.
• Provide architectural guidance to project teams and business stakeholders.
• Ensure solutions meet the needs of assetintensive, materialsdriven operations typical of mining, metals, or heavy industrial environments.
• Contribute to data migration, integration design, and system readiness activities.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of SAP MM experience, including S/4HANA.
• Proven background as a Solution Architect on largescale SAP programs.
• Strong understanding of procurement, inventory, material master, valuation, and logistics processes.
• Experience supporting mining, metals, minerals, steel, or heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Crossmodule integration experience (WM/EWM, PP, SD, QM, TM).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with distributed teams.
• Must be U.S.based and able to work remotely.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA certification in MM or Supply Chain.
• Experience with global templates or multisite rollouts.
• Familiarity with Ariba, Fieldglass, or related procurement tools.
• Background in assetintensive or materialsprocessing environments.
