Responsible for the end-to-end administration and operational excellence of Global Mobility programs, ensuring efficient, compliant, and high-quality delivery of services to employees and managers globally. Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) in global mobility transactions, policy interpretation, and program administration, while driving process standardization and technology-enabled improvements.
Acts as the primary point of contact for managers, assignees, and cross-functional partners, managing the full lifecycle of global assignments (short-term, long-term/expatriate, and permanent transfers). Exercises independent judgment in resolving complex and escalated issues and plays a key role in enhancing the overall employee and manager experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as an SME in Global Mobility operations, transactions, and program administration, with deep expertise across all assignment types (short-term, long-term, expatriate, and permanent transfers).
- Provide expert guidance and interpretation of global mobility policies, tax implications (as applicable), and operational processes to managers and employees worldwide.
- Administer end-to-end global mobility transactions within SAP SuccessFactors, including:
- Employee data changes
- Organizational and position management updates
- Global compensation and benefits processing
- Payroll-impacting transactions
- Maintain and manage assignee personnel files and documentation, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and audit readiness.
- Own and manage the case management lifecycle, including intake, resolution, escalation, and reporting of global mobility inquiries.
- Act as the first point of contact for complex and escalated issues, applying independent judgment and escalation governance where appropriate.
- Serve as the point of contact for her peers for auditing their transactions and ensuring audits are in place.
- Deliver consistent, accurate, and timely support on global mobility processes, systems, and policies across multiple regions.
- Proactively educate managers and employees on global mobility programs, tools, and best practices.
- Track and analyze inquiries to generate insights on trends, turnaround time, and root causes, and recommend improvements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to streamline and automate manual processes.
- Leverage tools such as Excel, Word, and SuccessFactors (and other technologies) to design and implement process efficiencies, reporting solutions, and automation.
- Partner with HR, Payroll, Tax, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution of assignments.
- Document processes, capture learnings, and contribute to knowledge management and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Key Requirements
- 5 8+ years of Global Mobility experience, with strong exposure to operations, transactions, and program administration
- Proven hands-on experience with SAP SuccessFactors, specifically Global Mobility / Employee Central transactions
- Demonstrated ability to manage high-volume, complex global mobility transactions with accuracy
- Strong expertise in global mobility policies and lifecycle management
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and process tools, with a track record of improving or automating manual processes
- Highly technically savvy, with the ability to translate manual workflows into scalable system-based solutions
- Experience working in a global, matrixed environment supporting stakeholders across regions
- Must be willing to attend online 7am meetings during high peak times.
