Role Overview
Seeking an experienced Google Cloud Platform Platform Architect to lead cloud architecture, platform engineering, modernization, observability, automation, security, and reliability for enterprise applications in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and govern scalable, secure, resilient Google Cloud Platform cloud platforms.
- Lead cloud modernization, platform engineering, and application transformation initiatives.
- Define observability, AIOps, SRE, and DevOps standards.
- Drive Terraform/IaC, Kubernetes, CI/CD, automation, and self-service platforms.
- Establish monitoring, logging, tracing, anomaly detection, and automated RCA.
- Provide architecture governance and technical leadership across engineering and operations teams.
Required Skills
- Strong Google Cloud Platform architecture experience – GKE, Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, Compute Engine, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, VPC, IAM, Monitoring & Logging.
- Gemini AI – Mandatory
- Apigee – Mandatory
- Hands-on AWS experience – Mandatory
- Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, CI/CD, Python/Shell
- Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, APM, SLI/SLO
- Cloud security, IAM, DR/BCP, governance and compliance.
- GxP/CSV experience preferred.
Preferred
- 5+ years of Google Cloud Platform architecture experience.
- Enterprise-scale cloud/platform modernization experience.
- Life Sciences / Pharma / Healthcare / Pharmacovigilance experience.
- Google Cloud Platform/AWS certification preferred.
