Description: Our client is currently seeking a Fullstack Cloud Engineer
About the Role
We're looking for an experienced engineer to take end-to-end ownership of a cloud-based application ecosystem built primarily in Typescript, with infrastructure defined in Terraform. This role requires deep experience in distributed systems, cloud architecture, and enterprise-scale development. You will work across application and infrastructure layers, integrate with on-prem systems, and collaborate with multiple teams in a complex enterprise environment.
Minimum Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and building distributed systems in AWS or another major cloud provider
- 5+ years of professional development experience with Typescript (required)
- Experience working within existing codebases and integrating cloud services with on-premises systems
- Proficiency in Terraform or similar Infrastructure-as-Code tools
- Comfortable working with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure automation
- 2+ years of experience in an enterprise-level organization
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Golang
- Background in financial systems or financial application development
- Exposure to or experience building data visualization solutions
Required Technical Skills
- Strong expertise in Typescript
- Cloud architecture design (AWS or similar)
- Microservices and serverless architectures
- Relational databases and SQL
- Experience building or maintaining ETL pipelines
Key Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end development of application features and infrastructure, including Typescript, SQL, and Terraform components
- Participate in design discussions and product planning sessions, providing technical leadership and implementation insight
- Collaborate across multiple teams in a large enterprise environment to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions
