Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer II for a hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. As a Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. This role involves coding solutions, performing unit tests, and ensuring successful integration into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. The position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite.
Responsibilities: - Contribute to story refinement and defining requirements
- Participate in and guide the team in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement
- Perform spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
- Code solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria
- Utilize multiple architectural components (data, application, business) in design and development
- Assist the team with resolving technical complexities
- Contribute to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance) and analyze test reports
- Document and communicate required information for deployment, maintenance, and support
- Participate and contribute to delivery/release (CI/CD) events
Requirements: - C#/.Net Web Developer with MVC framework experience
- Experience using generative AI platforms to improve productivity, automate routine work, analyze information, and support decision-making
- Ability to develop effective prompts, critically evaluate AI-generated content, and apply responsible AI and data security practices
- jQuery
- SQL / Database Experience
- Scripting
Desired skills: - Exposure to Java/Eclipse
- Knowledge of Tungsten / OCR Technology (KTM, KTA)
- Knowledge of Lockbox Line of Business/ Payment Processing

Pay range: $38.14 - $46.14 per hour
