Role: Salesforce Technical Architect

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of enterprise Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong combination of Salesforce architecture, hands-on development, Salesforce AI, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and React experience.
The Technical Architect will work closely with business users, product owners, technical teams, and stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into scalable Salesforce solutions, and provide technical leadership throughout the implementation lifecycle.
The ideal candidate should be comfortable working directly with business stakeholders while remaining hands-on with Salesforce development and emerging Salesforce AI capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the technical architecture and design of complex Salesforce solutions across enterprise environments.
- Work directly with business users, product owners, and business stakeholders to understand business processes, pain points, and requirements.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce architecture.
- Provide technical leadership across Salesforce development, integrations, data, security, and user experience.
- Design and develop solutions using Salesforce AI capabilities, including AI-powered automation, Agentforce, Einstein capabilities, and other Salesforce AI technologies.
- Develop and maintain Lightning Web Components (LWC) for custom Salesforce user interfaces and business applications.
- Develop or integrate React-based applications/components with Salesforce solutions where appropriate.
- Provide hands-on technical guidance and participate directly in development activities when required.
- Design Salesforce integrations with internal and external applications using APIs, middleware, and integration patterns.
- Define Salesforce data models, security architecture, sharing models, and governance standards.
- Evaluate existing Salesforce solutions and recommend modernization and optimization opportunities.
- Lead technical design sessions, architecture reviews, and solution walkthroughs.
- Collaborate with developers, administrators, business analysts, QA teams, and integration teams.
- Establish development standards, coding practices, reusable frameworks, and architectural guidelines.
- Review technical designs and code to ensure scalability, performance, security, and maintainability.
- Support CI/CD, DevOps, deployment, release management, and environment strategy.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues and provide root-cause analysis.
- Prepare technical architecture documents, solution designs, data flows, and integration diagrams.
- Stay current with Salesforce platform releases, AI capabilities, development frameworks, and emerging technologies.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Salesforce development, architecture, and implementation.
- Proven experience working as a Salesforce Technical Architect or in a similar senior architecture role.
- Strong experience working directly with business users and executive stakeholders.
- Ability to translate business requirements and processes into technical Salesforce solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce AI technologies, including Agentforce, Einstein, or related Salesforce AI capabilities.
- Strong hands-on experience with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
- Strong experience with React.js and modern frontend development.
- Strong hands-on experience with:

- Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and platform architecture.
- Experience with DevOps, CI/CD, Git, and Salesforce deployment tools.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Salesforce AI Experience
The candidate must have practical experience with Salesforce AI capabilities and should be able to:
- Identify business use cases for Salesforce AI.
- Design AI-enabled Salesforce solutions.
- Work with Agentforce and/or Einstein capabilities.
- Integrate AI capabilities into Salesforce business processes.
- Evaluate AI use cases from a technical feasibility, security, and data perspective.
- Work with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for AI-driven automation and productivity improvements.
- Understand Salesforce data requirements and grounding considerations for AI solutions.
LWC & React Experience
The candidate should have strong hands-on frontend development experience, including:
Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Develop reusable and scalable LWC components.
- Integrate LWC with Apex and Salesforce APIs.
- Use Lightning Data Service and Salesforce UI APIs.
- Implement event-driven communication between components.
- Build responsive Salesforce user experiences.
React
- Develop reusable React components.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Experience with REST APIs and integration with Salesforce.
- Experience building modern web applications using React.
- Ability to determine when Salesforce LWC versus React is appropriate for a given business requirement.
Business & Stakeholder Management
The Technical Architect must be comfortable working directly with business users.
Responsibilities include:
- Conduct business and technical discovery sessions.
- Understand current-state business processes.
- Identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
- Explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Present architecture options and trade-offs.
- Facilitate solution discussions and technical workshops.
- Challenge requirements when necessary and propose scalable alternatives.
- Ensure the final technical solution aligns with business objectives.
