This role focuses on deep FAH configuration, data mapping, and troubleshooting across high-volume, regulated financial systems.
The Job: Client is looking for an experienced Oracle Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) Specialist with experience in banking environments to design, configure, and support complex accounting integrations between core banking, payment, and ancillary systems and Oracle General Ledger.
Responsibilities:
- Configure and maintain FAH components including Accounting Rules, Journal Line Types, Account Derivation Rules, Mapping Sets, and Descriptive Flexfields
- Design and support interfaces from core banking, payments, treasury, and loan systems into FAH
- Analyze source-to-GL data flows and resolve accounting and posting issues at transaction level
- Partner with technical teams to define inbound file structures, APIs, and reconciliation controls
- Perform detailed SQL-based analysis to validate accounting outputs and balances
- Support high-volume batch processing, error handling, and performance tuning
- Execute unit testing, system integration testing, and UAT for accounting changes
- Support month-end and year-end close in a regulated banking environment
Skills, and Experience:
- 5+ years of hands-on Oracle FAH configuration experience
- Strong experience working with banks or financial institutions
- Solid understanding of core banking, payments, treasury, or loan accounting
- Experience with Oracle EBS or Oracle Fusion Financials
- Strong SQL skills for analysis and reconciliation
- Experience supporting production accounting systems
