Key job responsibilities:
- Seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant to design, build, and optimize enterprise analytics solutions across BI reporting, dashboards, planning, and predictive scenarios.
- The ideal candidate has endtoend SAC implementation experience, strong data modeling skills (SAC + SAP BW/HANA), and the ability to partner with business stakeholders to convert requirements into scalable, secure analytics products
Roles & Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Delivery
- Lead the design and development of SAC stories, dashboards, and analytic applications (including KPI definitions, calculations, and responsive layouts).
- Implement SAC Planning models (dimensions, versions, data actions, allocations, advanced formulas) and Forecasting workflows.
- Configure live and acquired data connections (e.g., S/4HANA, SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, OData, SQL sources), ensuring performance and governance.
Data Modeling & Integration
- Build and optimize SAC models (measures, hierarchies, currency conversion, security).
- Collaborate with BW/HANA teams on views/queries (e.g., CDS views, Calculation Views, BEx/BW queries).
Planning & FP&A Enablement
- Design planning templates, driver-based models, version management, and whatif simulations.
- Implement data actions, advanced formulas, and multi-step allocation logic.
Governance & Security
- Define roles, teams, and authorizations; enforce RLS/column-level security and promote content across tenants.
- Establish naming conventions, transport strategy, and lifecycle management standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Run workshops, gather requirements, produce functional/technical designs, and provide UAT support and training.
- Advise on visualization best practices and self-service enablement for business users.
Operations
- Establish monitoring, performance tuning, and housekeeping routines.
- Document solutions (runbooks, user guides) and support hyper care/AMS.
Required Qualifications:
- 4 8+ years of analytics/BI experience; 2 4+ years hands-on with SAP Analytics Cloud.
- Proven delivery of at least 2 endtoend SAC implementations (including planning and reporting).
- Strong knowledge of SAC Modeling, Stories, Analytic Designer, and SAC Planning (data actions, advanced formulas, allocations).
- Practical experience with live connections to S/4HANA/BW/HANA and acquired data workflows.
- Proficient in data modeling, calculations, and performance optimization.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
Generic Managerial Skills, If any
- SAP BW/4HANA or HANA modeling (Calculation Views, SQLScript) exposure.
- Experience with SAC Predictive, Smart Predict, and time-series forecasting.
- Familiarity with SAC APIs, Analytic Application scripting (JavaScript), and custom widgets.
- Knowledge of Group Reporting, BPC to SAC Planning migration, or Integrated Financial Planning (IFP).
- Exposu re to Power BI/Tableau or Azure/AWS data services in hybrid landscapes
