Cyber Tools Tanium Integration Specialist

As a Cyber Tools Integration Specialist, you will be responsible for integrating and maintaining essential cybersecurity tools and ensuring their compatibility within the broader system environment.
We are currently integrating Tanium and are looking for the right individual to assist with that development and integration effort. The Tanium expert will be required to lead the end-to-end implementation and optimization of Tanium in our large-scale enterprise environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess requirements, develop scalable architectures, drive successful deployments across thousands of endpoints, ensure high availability and performance, and establish best practices for ongoing operations and use case development.
Other key responsibilities include:
Integrating, configuring, and automating the installation of the Tanium with the existing set of Cyber Tools on the C2BMC system as a replacement for our existing BigFix Server.
Verifying Tanium meets contractual requirements.
Documenting the installation and delivering installation instructions to deploy Tanium to the C2BMC Enterprise.
Installing, deploying, and unit testing other Cyber Tools such as ACAS, ArcSight, Delinea, ESS, Axway Repeater, and Responder for Windows MFA in National Team (NT) labs, the C2BMC Testbed (O13), and Operations.
Developing and verifying installation instructions for Cyber Tools and Vendor Patches.
Applying Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs).
Managing and addressing any Cyber Tasking Orders (CTOs) related to the Cyber Tools.
Collaborating with local Information System Security Officers (ISSOs) to ensure compliance with relevant cybersecurity standards and regulations.
Working with various C2BMC teams to ensure compatibility and seamless integration of Cyber Tools within the larger system.
Documentation and verification of all installation and configuration steps for the labs and operations deliveries
Providing feedback to Cyber Leadership and engineers to improve the cybersecurity tools and processes.
This position requires a DoD government security clearance at the Secret Level, at start.
DoDI 8140 IAT-Level II certification (e.g., GSEC, Security+, SCNP, SSCP), at start.
This individual must have deep hands-on experience in designing, architecting, integrating, and deploying the Tanium platform, including core infrastructure (TanOS, modules, sensors), endpoint management, patch deployment, threat response, asset management, and custom integrations with existing security and IT operations tools.
In addition, the individual must have:3+ years of hands-on Tanium administration in an enterprise environment. Proven experience with integration and maintenance of Cyber Tools such as Elastic Stack, ACAS, ArcSight, BigFix, Delinea, ESS, Axway Repeater, Responder for Windows MFA, and ICAP. A strong understanding of cybersecurity standards and compliance requirements. Excellent communication and teamwork skills for effective collaboration. Proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving. Experience with Tanium in air-gapped or classified environments.

Scripting: PowerShell (advanced), Python, Bash
Infrastructure: SQL (Tanium DB optimization), PKI, load balancers, proxy chaining
Expert in TaniumQL Cranium Query Language), sensor logic, package creation, and module configuration (Patch, Asset. Deploy, Trends, Impact).Deep experience with Tanium Performance, API, Connect, Direct Connect, and Content Sets.
Emerging authority typically with an advanced degree and 7+ years' experience or bachelors with 9+ years' experience or equivalent; applies extensive expertise; solves complex problems that require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity-, work is performed without appreciable direction and is reviewed for desired results from a relatively long time perspective; erroneous decisions would normally result in failure to achieve major organizational objectives; may function in project leadership roles and represents the organization as prime customer contact on significant technical matters on contracts.
Technical trouble shooting of software applications and integrating COTS products, data analytics of system vulnerabilities and mission impacts, and risk mitigation resulting in system accreditation.
This position is full-time and based on-site in Colorado Springs, CO. The role will involve approximately 10% travel to customer sites within the U.S.
Tanium Certified Administrator (TCA) is a plus.
