Forward Deployed Engineer – AI/ML & Healthcare Claims
Location: MD ( onsite)
Client is seeking a hands-on Forward Deployed Engineer (FDE) to work directly with healthcare payer teams to deploy AI-driven solutions that transform claims operations.
The ideal candidate combines strong software/AI engineering skills with practical understanding of healthcare claims, payer workflows, and claims adjudication.
Responsibilities
Work closely with payer business, operations, and technology teams to understand claims workflows and translate them into deployable solutions.
Configure, integrate, and deploy AI/ML solutions within customer environments.
Develop and enhance workflows using Python, APIs, LLMs/GenAI, ML models, and data pipelines.
Analyze claims data, business rules, SOPs, and exception/pend workflows to identify automation opportunities.
Troubleshoot production issues and rapidly adapt solutions based on customer requirements.
Partner with Trulogik product and engineering teams to turn customer needs into scalable product capabilities.
Qualifications
3+ years of software engineering, data engineering, ML engineering, or applied AI experience.
Hands-on experience with Python, APIs, SQL, cloud platforms, and AI/ML technologies.
Experience working with healthcare payer claims, claims adjudication, payment integrity, or related healthcare operations.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work directly with customers in fast-moving environments.
Experience with LLMs, GenAI, RAG, agentic workflows, or healthcare AI is strongly preferred.
This is a highly customer-facing engineering role for someone who enjoys combining technology, healthcare domain knowledge, and real-world implementation.
