We are supporting a critical quality initiative for
Meta's data center construction program and are seeking an experienced
QA/QC Manager to join the onsite team at the
Prometheus Data Center campus in New Albany, Ohio. This role is central to ensuring large-scale, mission-critical facilities are constructed to the highest standards across
civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical scopes.
This is a
field-based construction quality role, embedded within active jobsite operations. The QA/QC Manager leads day-to-day quality execution by performing inspections, reviewing installations for compliance with drawings and specifications, managing non-conformances, and ensuring work is ready for commissioning and turnover. The role works closely with general contractors, subcontractors, and owner representatives to identify issues early, drive corrective actions, and maintain audit-ready documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
This position is
not a design, controls, or project management role. It is suited for professionals with strong construction QA/QC backgrounds who thrive onsite, understand MEP installation standards, and take ownership of quality outcomes on complex builds. Experience on data centers, healthcare facilities, industrial construction, or other mission-critical environments is highly relevant.
Must-Have Qualifications- 7+ years of experience in construction QA/QC or quality management, preferably on large or complex projects
- Demonstrated experience with MEP construction quality, including electrical and mechanical installations
- Hands-on experience performing field inspections, quality audits, and installation verification
- Proven ability to manage NCRs, corrective actions, and root cause analysis with GCs and subcontractors
- Experience reviewing submittals, drawings, and specifications for quality and code compliance
- Familiarity with construction quality tools such as BIM360, Procore, Bluebeam, or similar platforms
- Experience preparing and managing turnover, closeout, and audit-ready documentation
- Strong communication skills and comfort acting as the onsite quality authority with contractor and owner teams
- Ability to work fully onsite in a fast-paced, schedule-critical construction environment
Helpful (But Not Required)- Previous experience on data center or other mission-critical facilities
- Owner's Representative -embedded quality experience
- OSHA-10 or OSHA-30 certification
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of New Albany, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $70.00 - $110.00/hr.
