Application Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Application Support Engineer to support factory and manufacturing software systems. This role focuses on ensuring the stability, integration, and performance of production-critical applications used in manufacturing environments.

The ideal candidate will act as a technical expert, working closely with internal stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, manage incidents, and improve system reliability across production sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and support the end-to-end integration of MES and ERP applications used at production sites
• Triage and resolve application issues reported by manufacturing teams
• Create temporary workarounds for high-priority production issues when immediate fixes are required
• Act as incident commander during production-critical outages, coordinating across cross-functional teams
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide clear, data- and log-backed insights
• Document troubleshooting guides and best practices
• Train users to improve self-service issue resolution
• Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to implement corrective and preventive actions
• Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, continuously changing environment

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• 2+ years of experience in application or production support
• Hands-on knowledge of MES, ERP, or WMS systems
• 2+ years of experience with SQL
• 1+ year of experience with Python, Go, or another scripting/programming language
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or Splunk
• Strong understanding of integrated systems and dependencies
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
