Description:
The Technical Project Manager leads multiple complex, cross-functional technical initiatives from planning through delivery. This role partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver large-scale information systems, enterprise applications, and data solutions. The ideal candidate applies structured project management methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple technical projects of varying size and complexity
Partner with business stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria
Develop and maintain project artifacts, including project charters, work plans, schedules, communication plans, and deployment plans
Apply project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to manage deliverables, processes, and systems
Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams including system analysts, software engineers, designers, and vendors
Facilitate project meetings and ensure alignment across stakeholders
Identify, document, prioritize, and manage scope changes and risks; drive approval and mitigation processes
Track and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations against plan
Monitor and report project status, performance metrics, and return on investment throughout the project lifecycle
Maintain project documentation, issue logs, and change records
Secure appropriate skills and resources; set expectations and provide performance feedback to team members
Develop and coordinate testing strategies and quality review checkpoints
Execute project close-out activities, including documentation, approvals, and knowledge transfer
Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and data handling requirements
Perform other related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of project management experience delivering enterprise technology initiatives, including full lifecycle application development and/or data platforms
Experience leading projects in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
Proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder communications
Experience using project management, documentation, and reporting tools
Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills

Preferred Qualifications

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
Experience managing large-scale or high-complexity projects
Experience with portfolio management tools and enterprise development platforms
Background in regulated industries such as healthcare or insurance
Experience with vendor management and procurement processes
Strong analytical skills and experience with financial and performance tracking
Advanced proficiency with productivity and presentation tools
