Description:
The Technical Project Manager leads multiple complex, cross-functional technical initiatives from planning through delivery. This role partners closely with business and technology stakeholders to deliver large-scale information systems, enterprise applications, and data solutions. The ideal candidate applies structured project management methodologies to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple technical projects of varying size and complexity
  • Partner with business stakeholders to define project objectives, scope, and success criteria
  • Develop and maintain project artifacts, including project charters, work plans, schedules, communication plans, and deployment plans
  • Apply project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to manage deliverables, processes, and systems
  • Direct and coordinate cross-functional teams including system analysts, software engineers, designers, and vendors
  • Facilitate project meetings and ensure alignment across stakeholders
  • Identify, document, prioritize, and manage scope changes and risks; drive approval and mitigation processes
  • Track and manage project timelines, budgets, and resource allocations against plan
  • Monitor and report project status, performance metrics, and return on investment throughout the project lifecycle
  • Maintain project documentation, issue logs, and change records
  • Secure appropriate skills and resources; set expectations and provide performance feedback to team members
  • Develop and coordinate testing strategies and quality review checkpoints
  • Execute project close-out activities, including documentation, approvals, and knowledge transfer
  • Ensure compliance with applicable policies, procedures, and data handling requirements
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • 5+ years of project management experience delivering enterprise technology initiatives, including full lifecycle application development and/or data platforms
  • Experience leading projects in a matrixed, cross-functional environment
  • Proven ability to manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks, and stakeholder communications
  • Experience using project management, documentation, and reporting tools
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills


Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Experience managing large-scale or high-complexity projects
  • Experience with portfolio management tools and enterprise development platforms
  • Background in regulated industries such as healthcare or insurance
  • Experience with vendor management and procurement processes
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with financial and performance tracking
  • Advanced proficiency with productivity and presentation tools
