My Client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced PLM Test Automation Engineer to join our Engineering and Digital Transformation team. As a PLM Test Automation Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and release readiness of solutions built on the 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform. You will be responsible for designing, developing, maintaining, and executing automated test scripts, while collaborating with business stakeholders, functional teams, and development teams to validate end-to-end business processes and system integrations. More importantly, you will leverage AI-driven testing techniques and automation best practices to improve testing efficiency, defect detection, quality assurance, and release predictability.
Key Responsibilities:
Test Automation Development & Maintenance:
- Design, develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for the 3DEXPERIENCE (3DX) platform
- Create scalable and reusable automation frameworks to support functional, regression, integration, and smoke testing
- Develop automated test cases based on business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications
- Maintain automation repositories, test assets, and testing documentation
- Ensure automation scripts are aligned with application changes and releases
- Optimize test automation execution to improve efficiency and maximize test coverage
- Participate in code reviews and automation framework enhancements
- Apply AI-assisted testing capabilities for:
- Intelligent test case generation and optimization
- Self-healing test automation and script maintenance
- Automated test impact analysis
- Predictive defect detection and quality assessment
Test Execution & Defect Management:
- Execute automated and manual testing activities as required
- Validate application functionality across business processes, workflows, and integrations
- Analyze test execution results and identify functional, system, and integration issues
- Log, track, prioritize, and retest defects using established defect management processes
- Collaborate with developers and functional teams to investigate and resolve issues
- Ensure defects are properly documented with reproducible test evidence
- Support root cause analysis activities and recommend quality improvements
- Leverage AI/ML-driven tools and techniques for:
- Automated defect classification and triaging
- Defect pattern recognition and trend analysis
- Risk-based testing recommendations
- Intelligent failure prediction and analysis
Quality Assurance & Release Validation:
- Participate in System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and release validation activities
- Validate end-to-end business processes and system integrations across environments
- Ensure comprehensive test coverage for new features, enhancements, and releases
- Perform smoke testing and regression testing to validate deployment readiness
- Support release activities through test execution, validation, and reporting
- Collaborate with Release Managers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to ensure quality objectives are met
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for testing processes and release efficiency
- Apply AI-driven quality engineering practices for:
- Predictive quality analytics
- Release readiness assessment
- Test coverage optimization
- Automated quality reporting and recommendations
