Job Title: Manager HR Systems Reporting
Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Manager HR Systems Reporting to join our client to lead the strategy, delivery, and evolution of enterprise HR reporting and analytics. This role guides how workforce data is structured, presented, and leveraged across the organization while ensuring accuracy, scalability, and strong governance. The Manager will partner closely with HR leaders, technology teams, and business partners to design solutions that elevate decision making and enhance self service reporting tools. This position also plays a key role in steering Workday report development, managing feature upgrades, and mentoring a team of technical reporting specialists. This is a remote direct hire opportunity based out of Cherry Hill NJ.

Position Qualifications Required:

  • 8+ years of progressive technical system experience with a focus on advanced reporting, data transformation and optimization.  
  • Workday expertise required, including report product offerings such as: Prism, Discovery Boards, People Analytics, etc. 
  • Advanced level experience required with Excel, Workday business processes and reporting including BIRT, advanced, matrix, composite reports and calculated fields.




Key Responsibilities of the Manager HR Systems Reporting:

  • Oversee the creation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise HR reporting frameworks, ensuring solutions meet operational priorities and support data driven decision making.
  • Guide the translation of business requirements into technical specifications while managing report architecture, testing routines, deployment, and data validation practices.
  • Lead Workday reporting strategy by developing dashboards, optimizing calculated fields, expanding the custom report library, and improving self service accessibility.
  • Direct day to day workflow of the reporting team, encouraging high quality output, continuous learning, and collaborative problem solving.
  • Manage vendor release reviews, evaluate new system features, coordinate user testing and training, and sustain strong reporting governance practices.

Qualifications and Skills for the Manager HR Systems Reporting:

  • Extensive background in technical systems reporting, generally eight or more years, with proven ability to design complex datasets and drive reporting optimization.
  • Deep expertise in Workday reporting tools including Prism, Discovery Boards, People Analytics, BIRT, and composite or matrix reporting structures.
  • Ability to present data in clear, meaningful ways supported by strong analytical strengths, advanced Excel capabilities, and knowledge of Workday business processes.
  • Experience guiding others or leading initiatives, with the confidence to present insights and proposals to HR leadership.
  • A degree in information systems, business, quantitative studies, or a related field is preferred, and professional technology certifications are a plus.
