responsibilities:
- Install, deploy, configure, upgrade, patch, and administer Commercial, ETRM, Market Data, and vendor applications across nonproduction, disaster recovery, and production environments.
- Own application-platform readiness, configuration, reliability, performance, supportability, and lifecycle execution on Azure infrastructure supplied by enterprise cloud teams.
- Develop deep product knowledge of application components, services, databases, integrations, dependencies, sizing, and recovery requirements.
- Collaborate with Application Development, Business SMEs, Vendors, Enterprise Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, Database, Security, and Service Management teams.
qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent practical experience considered.
5+ years in application platform engineering, DevOps, application operations, site reliability, or related technical delivery.
3+ years of hands-on experience supporting Azure-hosted Windows and SQL-based business applications.
Demonstrated delivery of application deployments, vendor upgrades, automation, operational readiness, and platform improvements.
