Baer is looking for Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer for a 6+ month project located in Atlanta, GA.

Overview
The Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting IAM solutions to protect enterprise systems, applications, and data. This role focuses on authentication, authorization, identity lifecycle management, and integration of enterprise applications with IAM platforms in a secure and scalable environment.
Description:

• Design, implement, and manage IAM solutions across enterprise environments.
• Configure and customize Microsoft Entra and other IAM platforms to support multiple business units and onboarding processes.
• Support and maintain authentication and authorization services including SSO, MFA, and role-based access controls.
• Design and oversee integrations between enterprise applications and IAM platforms.
• Provide technical expertise and hands-on support for Azure Entra and IAM-related projects.
• Manage identity lifecycle processes including provisioning, deprovisioning, access reviews, and workflow automation.
• Troubleshoot IAM-related issues and optimize security and access management processes.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams to ensure secure access management practices.
• Support implementation of Zero Trust security principles and IAM best practices.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, SailPoint, or similar enterprise IAM tools.
• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization concepts including SSO, MFA, RBAC, ABAC, OAuth2, SAML, and OIDC.
• Experience with identity lifecycle management processes and workflow automation.
• Experience integrating SaaS applications and APIs with IAM platforms.
• Basic understanding of Zero Trust architecture and security best practices.
• Ability to work effectively in multi-organization and multi-directory environments.
• Advanced or post-graduate degree in a related IT field is a plus.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale IAM implementations and cloud identity solutions.
• Bachelor s Degree.
