Baer is looking for SAP Application Security Governance Lead for a 6+ month project located in Atlanta, GA.

Overview
The SAP Application Security Governance Lead is responsible for supporting application security, governance, and compliance activities across SAP and related enterprise systems. This role focuses on ensuring security controls are properly documented, monitored, and executed in alignment with IT policies, standards, and audit requirements. The position also supports access governance, compliance initiatives, and process improvement efforts across multiple teams.
Description

• Assist in identifying, documenting, and maintaining security controls across enterprise applications and environments.
• Execute and monitor key security governance controls and compliance activities.
• Track control execution status and coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion.
• Support internal and external audit requests by gathering documentation and evidence.
• Analyze access-related issues and recommend remediation solutions.
• Improve and automate governance and control processes where possible.
• Support identity and access management (IAM) activities, including provisioning and deprovisioning controls.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to maintain secure and compliant access management processes.
• Provide guidance and support regarding access control routines and governance standards.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in application security, IT governance, compliance, or access management.
• Knowledge of identity and access provisioning processes and related IT controls.
• Experience reviewing and remediating inappropriate or unnecessary access assignments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a self-driven, team-oriented mindset.
• Certifications such as CISA or CISSP preferred.
• Experience with SAP security, IAM tools, or enterprise governance frameworks.
• Bachelor s Degree.
