Our Challenge:
We are seeking for an Appian Developers who will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business process management (BPM) applications using the Appian platform. They work closely with business analysts, stakeholders, and other developers to create efficient and scalable solutions that automate workflows, streamline processes, and improve organizational operations.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Piscataway, NJ is $110K - $120K/year & benefits (see below).
Responsibilities:
- Develop and customize Appian applications based on business requirements.
- Design data models, interfaces, actions, and integrations within the Appian platform.
- Collaborate with process owners and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure robust performance.
- Maintain and update existing applications to enhance functionality and performance.
- Ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and organizational guidelines.
- Document application design, development processes, and user guides.
- Provide technical support and expertise during the deployment and post-deployment phases.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in designing and developing applications on the Appian platform.
- Strong understanding of BPM concepts, process modeling, and workflow automation.
- Proficiency in Java, SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
- Experience with RESTful APIs, web services, and third-party integrations.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Certifications, but not required:
- Appian Certified Developer
- Appian Certified Designer
