As a Data Domain Modeling Engineer, within the Transformation and Innovation team, you will design and implement end-to-end data models starting from raw data to the semantic layer that makes our data more accessible and understandable for different persona ranging from finance users, data analysts, automation, quantitative research and machine learning teams.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and refine data models that address different P&A community, ensuring effective delivery and usability of data product.
  • Work with business and data partners to understand data requirements, investigate data sources and recommend improvements to data processes or structures.
  • Produce data analysis to address questions from stakeholders, supporting the understanding and adoption of data solution
  • Support different variety of data sets and use cases relating to Planning & Analysis processes, collaborating with senior team members on solution design
  • Contribute ideas and assist in developing solution for key data challenges and help implements innovative solutions at the bank such as enterprise data catalog, and AI-enabled conversational analytics
  • Collaborate with other high-performing teams within JPM to inspire innovation and champion change throughout the bank

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, information systems, business analytics, or related discipline; 3+ years of relevant experience in developing, testing, and refining data models and analytic prototypes using dimensional and relational data models
  • Demonstrate experience using SQL and Python for data analysis, data engineering and transformation; comfortable with writing queries and scripts to uncover business insight and build data solution
  • Hands on in building and prototyping data model to address and support user reporting delivery
  • Curious and inquisitive mind to dig deep into the business and data to understand the context
  • Comfortable working with evolving requirement and proactively seek out information to clarify objective
  • Strong communication skills to present data findings and support data consumers

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Experience with Databricks
