n Engineering Manager to lead sprint execution, drive software delivery quality, and manage a team of software engineers across healthcare technology initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role combining technical depth with people management and delivery accountability. Primary Responsibilities Sprint Execution & Delivery Lead sprint execution with the scrum team; participate in daily scrum calls Ensure the team meets sprint goals (committed deliverables) and quality standards (defect reduction) Serve as the first point of escalation for delivery and quality challenges during sprint execution Team & Resource Management Own resource planning, forecasting, and onboarding of new team members (software setup, technical KT) Drive team building, development, and continuous improvement Technical Leadership Sizing and estimation for new initiatives, projects, and backlog features Collaborate with technical architecture teams on design for new projects and features Partner with Product Owners/Product Managers to understand product vision, objectives, and metrics Create and maintain effective software delivery frameworks that ensure quality Establish and enforce code review processes, adherence to coding standards Establish automated quality control processes (CI/CD pipelines including standards checks, automated functional, security, and performance testing) Ensure technical design and code are maintainable, reusable, scalable, and performant Required Skills 8+ years of experience in software engineering Proven experience in software delivery management Experience managing a team of software engineers Strong technical background in Java, Spring Boot, React JS, or comparable modern tech stacks Experience with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies Hands-on experience establishing CI/CD pipelines and engineering best practices Desired Skills Healthcare payer/provider domain experience Experience with cloud-native architectures (Azure, AWS) Familiarity with AI/ML integration in software delivery | Partner closely with senior leadership to drive strategy execution, improve organizational effectiveness, and enable scalable growth.
