We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our fast-paced legal team. The successful candidate will handle high-level litigation cases and provide comprehensive legal advice to our clients. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned attorney who enjoys navigating complex legal matters and strives to deliver outstanding results. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in commercial litigation and trial experience. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in the legal field.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage all phases of litigation from investigation, pleadings, and discovery to pre-trial, trial, settlement, and appeal.
2. Develop and implement litigation strategies tailored to each client's needs.
3. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, opinions, and other legal documents.
4. Conduct extensive legal research to keep abreast of changes in law and to predict possible outcomes.
5. Represent clients in court and before government agencies.
6. Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the case.
7. Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
8. Advise clients on business and legal transactions.
9. Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
Qualifications:
1. Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
2. Must be a TX licensed attorney in good standing.
3. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a litigation attorney, ideally business/commercial litigation focus.
4. Significant trial experience and business/commercial litigation experience required.
5. Exceptional analytical skills and a strong detail-oriented mindset.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
7. Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Strong negotiation skills with the ability to resolve conflicts and disputes.
9. High ethical standards and professionalism in all business interactions.
10. Proficient in legal research software and Microsoft Office Suite.
