A bit about us:A respected Dallas litigation firm is looking to add a strong Associate Attorney to support a busy and growing practice. This is a great opportunity for an attorney who enjoys hands-on litigation, partnering directly with experienced partners/senior attorneys, and working on high-exposure matters across Texas.
This team handles a mix of sophisticated defense litigation, including insurance coverage (1st/3rd party), construction defect, professional liability, commercial/business litigation, premises liability, and catastrophic trucking/transportation.

Job DetailsWhat You'll Be Doing:
Managing active litigation matters from start to finish
Drafting pleadings, motions, discovery, and litigation strategy memos
Taking/defending depositions and attending mediations
Working closely with partners on case strategy and development
Appearing in court (state + federal exposure preferred)
Negotiating settlement and supporting resolution strategy
What you have:
JD from an accredited law school
Active Texas Bar license
5-10 years of litigation experience (sweet spot: 6-8 years)
Experience and/or strong interest in one or more of the following:
Insurance coverage (first-party/third-party)
Construction defect
Professional liability
Medical malpractice
Premises liability
Commercial litigation
Trucking & transportation litigation
Strong writing + research skills
Someone who can work independently, but also enjoys collaborating with a team
