Oracle Database Admin with AWS RDS

Our primary need for this resource is 

1. RDS Experience  (DB Expert for Oracle/RDS, database anaylst)
2. With Cloud knowledge (AWS)
3. HA/DR (Knowledge with Golden Gate is a plus)
4. Effective communicator and ability to work on a team/agile environment and take ownership over user stories/progress updates/help needed

Role Responsibilities:

1. Cloud Infrastructure & DevOps
2. Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
3. Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud environments using IaC frameworks (⁠[Terraform / CloudFormation / Bicep]⁠).
4. CI/CD Automation: Build and manage deployment pipelines to automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and software deployment.  
5. Environment Monitoring:
6. Implement proactive monitoring, alerting, and logging systems to track system health, cost efficiency, and performance.  
7. Security & Compliance: Enforce least-privilege access controls (⁠[IAM]⁠), set up network segmentation (⁠[VPCs / Security Groups]⁠), and ensure data encryption at rest and in transit.
8. Database Management & Optimization
9. Database Provisioning: Deploy, configure, and maintain relational (⁠[SQL]⁠) and non-relational (⁠[NoSQL]⁠) cloud-managed database services.
10. Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning, index management, and resource scaling.  
11. High Availability & DR: Implement robust backup strategies, replication, and disaster recovery (DR) plans to guarantee business continuity.  
12. Cloud Migration: Plan and execute data migration strategies from on-premises environments or legacy architectures to cloud-managed database platforms.  

Technical Requirements / Qualifications:

1. Cloud Platforms: 3+ years of hands-on experience with ⁠[AWS / Azure ]⁠, specifically core services like compute, networking (⁠[VPC / Subnets]⁠), and security.
2. Database Expertise: * Proficiency in Relational Databases (e.g., ⁠[RDS / Oracle / Amazon Aurora ]⁠).
3. Knowledge of Solumina DB Schemas & Integrations
4. Deep understanding of database partitioning, replication, clustering, and caching strategies.
5. Infrastructure as Code: Proven experience with ⁠[Terraform / CloudFormation]⁠.
6. Scripting/Programming: Proficient in ⁠[Python / Bash / Go]⁠ for automation and system tooling.
7. Containerization: Experience with Docker and container orchestration platforms (⁠[Kubernetes / ECS / EKS]⁠).
