Platform Engineers (Mid & Expert Level) to support and enhance the core platform that powers the entire business. This team is central to infrastructure,
automation, and AI/ML-enabled platform operations. This is a full-time,
5-days-onsite position in
Westlake Village, TX, working within a
fast-paced, high-impact engineering environment.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Platform/DevOps Engineer, you will:
Cloud & Infrastructure- Design, implement, and manage scalable and resilient infrastructure on AWS.
- Architect and maintain Windows and Linux environments with seamless cloud integration.
- Implement Infrastructure-as-Code using AWS CloudFormation/CDK and Terraform/OpenTofu.
- Manage configuration of Windows & Linux servers using Chef.
CI/CD & Automation- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines in GitLab CI/CD, including pipelines for .NET applications.
- Automate infrastructure and application deployments using scripting (Python, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell).
- Manage Windows Server builds leveraging tools like Packer and Chocolatey.
AI/ML Platform Engineering- Integrate AI services (AWS Bedrock, Google Agentspace, and other generative AI frameworks).
- Build AI/ML infrastructure pipelines for training, inference, and deployment across AWS and Google Cloud Platform.
- Automate model lifecycle management (training deployment monitoring) in CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement observability, security, and cost-optimization strategies for AI-driven workloads.
Operations & Collaboration- Troubleshoot platform, infrastructure, and application deployment issues.
- Implement monitoring and logging using tools like NewRelic and CloudWatch.
- Ensure security best practices across infrastructure and pipelines.
- Collaborate closely with development and AI engineering teams.
- Provide mentorship to junior engineers.
- Contribute to documentation, DevOps standards, and best practices.
Required Qualifications- 5+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering roles.
- 1+ years working with AI/ML services or LLM-driven architectures.
- Extensive experience with AWS (EC2, autoscaling, warm pools, networking, etc.).
- Strong Windows & Linux server administration
- Hands-on experience with AWS CDK and Terraform.
- Strong CI/CD expertise with GitLab CI/CD.
- Experience deploying & supporting .NET applications in cloud environments.
- Strong scripting: PowerShell, Python, Ruby, Bash.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls).
- Experience with monitoring tools (NewRelic, CloudWatch).
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and cross-team collaboration skills.
Nice-to-Have Skills- Docker and Kubernetes experience.
- AWS or Google Cloud Platform certifications.
- Understanding of IIS administration on Windows servers.
- Experience with Windows image creation and automation tools (Packer, Chocolaty).

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $62.50 - $80.00/hr.
