Description: Job Title:Workstation Technician
Location:Jacksonville, FL
Summary:Seeking a Workstation Technician with at least 2 years of relevant experience to support hardware and software deployments, installations, equipment relocations, technical troubleshooting, and end-user support. The role involves working closely with IT support teams, managing inventory, documenting activities through ticketing systems, and ensuring compliance with IT security standards.
Required / Mandatory Skills:- 2+ years of relevant customer service or workstation support experience
- Hardware and software requirements knowledge
- On-site installation experience
- Technical installation and repair support
- Understanding of computer-related terminology including CPU, Internet, Networking, Client/Server, LAN/WAN
- Experience using ticket tracking software and documentation tools
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaborate with technical support teams
- Inventory management and equipment tracking experience
- Understanding of IT security policies and equipment handling procedures
Nice to Have:- Experience with equipment relocation and deployment projects
- End-user training and support experience
- Experience coordinating with multiple IT infrastructure teams
Qualification:- High School Diploma
- Ability to lift 75 pounds or more
- Ability to perform physical activities including bending, stooping, kneeling, squatting, and working with arms above shoulder level
- Ability to distinguish colors
