Location: Indianapolis, IN – 4 Days onsite in a Month

Duration: 12 Months w/extensions

Job Description:

The Communications Specialist is responsible for supporting the development and execution of communication and training plans for the Child Support Bureau and local Title IV-D staff across Indiana.

 

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

·       Create and edit training guides from content provided by subject matter experts.

·       Write, edit, and disseminate communications to end users and stakeholders.

·       Assist in developing training and training material for systems of record.

·       Facilitate webinars by monitoring chat, sharing document links, and troubleshooting access issues.

·       Assist adult learners in physical classroom trainings.

·       Assist with equipment set up and testing activities for classroom trainings.

·       Assist with administrative tasks associated with training registration.

·       Monitor group mailboxes and respond to stakeholder questions.

·       Work with subject matter experts and engage in independent research to develop subject matter knowledge relevant to assigned projects and curricula

 

Requirements:

·       Excellent attention to detail

·       Excellent grammar and writing skills, including the ability to convey written, technical information in a clear, concise manner.

·       Professional demeanor

·       Excellent computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft365 suite and Jira.

·       Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously, while maintaining attention to detail.

·       Ability to learn new information quickly and independently.

·       Ability to meet deadlines, adapt to changing requirements, and work under pressure.
