Role: Systems Analyst (Solutions Analyst)

Job Description
The Systems Analyst (Solutions Analyst) is a key member of the CDXi delivery team, responsible for turning business needs into clear, actionable system requirements and solution designs. This role works closely with product, engineering, and architecture teams to produce functional documentation, data mappings, and system flows that guide technical implementation. Ideal candidates are go getters who take initiative, collaborate well under competing priorities, and demonstrate strong ownership and accountability. Core Responsibilities Requirements & Analysis · Translate business needs into functional requirements. · Ensure requirements are complete, testable, traceable, and aligned with CDXi workflows and technology. · Document system logic, acceptance criteria, and technical details in Jira. Solution & System Design · Produce functional design documents, system flows, UML diagrams, process maps, and related design assets. · Create data mapping documents and source to target transformation specifications. · Generate solution diagrams that support engineering delivery. · Learn and understand CDXi's tech stack and data flows. Data & Technical Analysis · Analyze data flows, payloads, integration patterns, and system behaviors. · Use SQL for data validation, troubleshooting, and solution testing. · Understand data movement across CDXi's FHIR based ecosystem.
Project Delivery & Execution · Drive technical workstreams from concept to launch. · Manage WBS, work breakdown structure, and cross team readiness activities. · Support developers and QA with clarifications and updated documentation. Cross Team Collaboration · Work effectively with Architecture, Engineering, QA, and business partners-even as priorities shift. · Facilitate meetings with internal and external partners. · Communicate complex technical and healthcare workflows clearly.
Skills & Experience
Required · 5+ years Systems Analysis experience · Healthcare experience, preferably with a payer · Experience working in an agile environment and closely collaborating with scum masters · Experience producing complex technical documentation including demonstrated ability to create: o Functional design documents o System flows and diagrams o Data mapping documents · Strong SQL proficiency · Ability to collaborate across teams and manage competing priorities Preferred · Understanding of bi directional data exchange, digital healthcare transactions, and CMS mandates o Experience working with or integrating Epic · Knowledge of REST APIs, integration patterns, and service oriented architectures · Experience with FHIR, HL7, IGs, and broader clinical data exchange · Exposure to technical environments such as: o AWS, OpenShift, Aurora o Java/Quarkus microservices o API first architectures Ideal Candidate Profile A strong candidate is: • A self starter with strong ownership and follow through • Comfortable managing competing priorities • Skilled at turning ambiguous problems into clear, actionable requirements • Effective at explaining technical concepts through words, diagrams, and structured documentation • Able to translate complex healthcare and interoperability workflows into executable design • Eager to understand CDXi's technical ecosystem and contribute to interoperability driven solutions
