Solumina Subject Matter Expert (SME) specializing in transitioning from G-Series (G7/G8) to iSeries (cloud-native) is responsible for upgrading, configuring, and optimizing iBase-t’s Manufacturing Execution System (MES). This role involves moving from legacy, highly customized environments to a more standardized, SaaS-based platform, requiring expertise in manufacturing processes, data migration, and system integration. Key Responsibilities - Upgrade & Migration: Lead the functional migration from Solumina G-Series to iSeries, reducing custom code in favor of standard, configurable features.
- System Configuration: Configure and deploy iSeries workflows for manufacturing, quality (EQMS), and MRO, utilizing pre-configured functionality.
- Process Optimization: Analyze existing G-Series workflows, perform gap analysis, and redesign processes for the modernized iSeries interface.
- Integration Management: Architect and support integrations between Solumina iSeries and ERP/PLM systems.
- User Adoption: Train users on the new iSeries interface and provide technical support to ensure smooth transition.
- Data Validation: Ensure data integrity during the migration from legacy databases.
Required Skills and Qualifications - Technical Proficiency: Strong experience with iBase-t Solumina MES (specifically G-series and iSeries).
- Database Knowledge: Proficiency in SQL and database management.
- Industry Experience: Deep understanding of Aerospace & Defense manufacturing
- Technical Skills: Knowledge of web technologies, REST APIs, and cloud architecture (as iSeries is cloud-native).
