Maintenance Equipment Technicians

Title : Maintenance Equipment Technician (2- Roles: Junior and Mid-level profiles)

Location: Santa Clara, CA Onsite

Duration: Contract-to-hire (6 months contract then conversion to perm)

2^nd Shift: 2:30 PM -11:00/12:00 AM is preferred

Can entertain 11:00 AM - 8:30 PM or 1st shift if that is all they can do

US Persons Preferred

Scope: This is a hands-on, mechanically focused role requiring strong troubleshooting ability, attention to documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Equipment & Maintenance Support
• Support manufacturing equipment maintenance and issue resolution
• Perform emergency repairs and real-time troubleshooting (including online diagnostics)
• Execute preventative maintenance activities/ schedules
• Perform corrective maintenance activities
• Assist with troubleshooting
• Administrative & Support Tasks

1. Order spare parts and track inventory

1. Coordinate shipment of equipment/assets for maintenance or calibration

1. Support vendor visits (escort vendors onsite, provide equipment access, coordinate services)

1. Maintain maintenance logs and ensure documentation accuracy

Qualifications

Required

• Experience as a Maintenance Technician - 1-5 years
• Mechanical background and strong manual/hand skills
• Experience working on machinery, computers, circuit boards, or similar technical equipment
• Familiarity with preventative maintenance schedules
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Detail-oriented with an understanding of documentation requirements

Preferred

• Experience in a regulated industry (medical device, pharma, biotech, aerospace, etc.)

• Comfortable in a hands-on manufacturing setting
• Understands the importance of documentation and compliance
• Able to balance technical tasks with administrative responsibilities
• have an internal contractor handling some of that digital transformation
