Role Overview
We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst for a six-month, part-time (20 hours/week) remote role. The position involves supporting the implementation of a new UC platform by developing documentation, facilitating design sessions, and ensuring requirements are met. The ideal candidate will work closely with business analysts, developers, and testers to deliver effective system solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in developing a Statement of Work for a System Integrator to implement a new UC platform.
- Participate in business requirements gathering sessions with business analysts and other stakeholders.
- Analyze business requirements to create detailed systems requirements documentation (SRD), document process flows, and perform system impact analysis.
- Identify and document functional and non-functional systems requirements.
- Facilitate design sessions between developers, business analysts, and testers.
- Design screen and user interface mockups for requirements documents.
- Provide assistance to business analysts, testers, and developers to support the creation of documentation, test cases, and solutions.
- Track deliverables, provide estimates for completing system requirements, and conduct requirements walkthroughs with technical teams.
- Review test condition coverage, prioritize test scenarios, and assist in developing corrective action plans for defects.
- Assist with the management of change control requirements documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with telephony infrastructure.
- Experience with technical architecture diagrams.
Work Environment
Work is performed within an office or home office environment. The working environment is generally favorable, with no exposure to hazardous conditions caused by noise, dust, or other factors.
Physical Requirements
- Stand or sit at a workstation for the majority of each shift.
- Communicate with others, typically through speaking and hearing.
- Use a computer to enter and screen data.
