Summary

Job Description

ECS is seeking a Field Services Technician to work in our Gulfport, MS office. Please Note: This position is contingent upon additional funding.

Candidate must experience working with the Uncrewed Surface Vehicles (USV) (Surface and Underwater Crafts) as a maintenance technician. This includes pre-deployment, in-field, and post-mission maintenance.

Required Skills

Performs equipment preparation, inspections, cleaning, and basic preventive maintenance in support of Uncrewed Surface Vehicle (USV) operations.
Conducts cable fabrication, battery handling and servicing, inventory management, and logistics support to ensure operational availability of USV platforms and spares.
Executes pre-deployment, in-field, and post-mission maintenance for USVs to support safe, reliable, and sustained operations.
Supports payload integration, system checkout, and mission readiness verification prior to deployment and during operations.
Maintains technical documentation, maintenance records, and configuration tracking for USV platforms and payload systems.
Provides operational support for land-based, pier-side, and vessel-based USV operations, including deployment and recovery activities.

Desired Skills

Experience with Avionics and maintenance of USVs ( Uncrewed Surface Vehicles) and technical documentation.
