Position: Lead Migration Architect (PHP to Cloud)

Location: Remote (US Preferred)

Engagement: Contract (6 months and then full time to Client)

Senior Software Engineer with 10+ year of experience, to work on migration project, someone who can jump into an existing PHP-based ecosystem, rapidly understand how things work, and help convert and scale these systems into containerized, autoscaling microservices capable of handling millions of requests and database transactions

Overview : Client is transforming a proven set of internal, revenue generating tools into a high scale SaaS platform for the financial publishing (FinPub) industry. These tools already work in production for internal users and partners; the mandate now is to harden, modernize, and scale them for industry-wide adoption.

Please note: This is not greenfield work. This is high velocity execution on real systems with real traffic and aggressive deadlines.
