Join Collins Aerospace as an entry level Analyst, Engineering Services to support the Environmental Air Controls System (EACS) under the Power and Controls organization. Work collaboratively with multiple engineering disciplines and functions to develop an integrated execution plan.

This position will sit at our Aguadilla, Puerto Rico location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered. This role is categorized as hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.

What You Will Do:
  • Review industry specifications, customer specifications and drawings against internal specifications to satisfy documentation requirements across applicable operating conditions.
  • Complete compliance tabulations, verify and document ongoing adherence to customer specific requirements.
  • Identify and resolve compliance issues, working towards collaborative solutions with multiple engineers at other facilities.
  • Support internal/ external meetings to share status, metrics and technical information.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement thru identification and implementation of process improvements.
  • Resolve issues in a timely manner and ensure proper engineering intent is realized without jeopardizing contract compliance.
  • Write and update standard work documents.
  • Ensure work is performed in a timely manner and by priority.
  • Support audits and resulting corrective actions.
  • Work autonomously with limited oversight from manager.

Qualifications You Must Have:
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and less than 2 years prior relevant experience
  • Microsoft Office, Word, Power Point and Excel
  • Technical writing experience
  • Experience reading and understanding technical processes
  • Interpretation of engineering drawings and specifications
  • Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written)

Qualifications We Prefer:
  • Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering degree
  • Understanding of Engineering and Manufacturing process
  • Experience working with the shared support of engineering, operations, records, and drafting
  • Experience with engineering change process
  • General knowledge of Project Management
  • Knowledge in CAD tools and equipment
  • Proficient Print reading and Working knowledge of industry standards including ASME/ANSY14 (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Experience/knowledge in SAP, TEAMCENTER, PLM, Configuration Management / Data Management, SharePoint
